PLAMECA BEGINS ITS ACTIVITY IN SEPTEMBER 1984 WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF CREATING A COMPANY WITH A LARGE VARIETY OF MEDICINAL PLANTS.
Its founders had accumulated great experience in growing and harvesting of medicinal plants, gathering process carried out by experienced mountain and properly trained to select only plants that presented the best conditions for its medicinal use.
In a second stage, joined the non-native plant species list, coming, to have the widest range of the market, which in subsequent years complement dietary supplements, botanical extracts and compound, jellies, syrups, oligotherapy, lithotherapy, etc .
In June 2001 the company SUANFARMA, SA joined as senior partner PLAMECA. FARMA SUAN markets and distributes intermediate and raw materials for various industries in over 60 countries and develops generic drugs. In addition to offices in Madrid and Barcelona, Suan Farma is present with own offices in New Jersey (USA), Caracas (Venezuela) and Mexico City (Mexico) and branches in Utah and California (USA), Bogota (Colombia), Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Hong Kong (China). This partnership has enabled us to tackle an ambitious international expansion plan begun in 2009.
In this new phase the objective is to prepare PLAMECA to increase the levels of assurance of quality and service in order to be more competitive in an increasingly demanding market. From here, the department ID Plameca begins to develop new products based on innovation and efficiency, and is backed by science. After 25 years of activity in 2010, we opened a new headquarters which has marketing and manufacturing plant, equipped with clean rooms and areas of primary and secondary storage, which together with the thoroughness of our work guarantees our customers maximum quality products and services.
