Aloe vera: from Aristotle to NASA

Rarely in nature will you find a medicinal plant with as many properties as the aloe vera. One of the quickest ways to benefit from their properties is to take aloe vera juice.

The ancient Egyptians called the aloe vera "plant of immortality" and they recorded its medicinal use in the Ebers Papyrus in 1,500 B.C. Aristotle was also aware of the multiple properties of the aloe vera. For this reason, he persuaded his disciple Alexander the Great that he conquered the island of Socotora (now part of Yemen and still rich in this medicinal plant) in order to obtain sufficient quantity of aloe vera to heal the wounds of his soldiers. Today, this plant is still very much appreciated, even in the NASA! They claim that it absorbs radiation from computers, televisions and other electrical appliances.

Did you know that there are more than 300 species of aloe? Despite this, the most appreciated for its activity is the Aloe Barbadensis Miller. It is found in pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic preparations (in the form of cream or gel, soap, shampoo, toothpaste or juice).

More than 200 nutrients!

Another surprising fact is that the aloe vera has more than 200 essential nutrients for our body. In fact, it is one of the few plant species that contains organic germanium, a mineral that helps purify the body.

One last curiosity, in case you want to show off your hair. Taking aloe vera juicewill give more shine and strength to your hair.

Have you experienced any of the multiple benefits of the aloe vera? We would like you to tell us about your experience, I'm sure it can be useful for other people!
