Nut Milkshake Recipe

With the warmer season just around the corner, it's time to look for simple recipes that are quick to prepare and refreshing. Well, and delicious, of course. That's why today we'll show you how to prepare a delicious walnut smoothie.

Perfect for a different breakfast, to regain strength after a hard day or even as a refreshing snack or drinkable dinner. It is also perfect to take to the office if you have little time to eat, for example.

Remember also that just a small amount of nuts can provide many, very many, benefits to our health. Hence the importance of including them in our diet, because although they have earned a bad reputation for their caloric intake, they are packed with protein and most contain some of these heart-healthy substances: unsaturated fats, omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, vitamin E, plant sterols and L-arginine.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons peeled walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons flaxseeds, smelled
  • 1 tablespoon of cashew or peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • A pinch of salt

Preparation

Mix it all in the blender and it is ready to drink. Although if you prefer you can let it rest in the refrigerator to make it cooler and stir well before drinking it.
