Chocolate truffles

There are desserts with which you know it is impossible to fail. This is the case of chocolate truffles, an easy and simple recipe that emulates the original chocolate truffles with which success is guaranteed, because nobody is bitter for a sweet! 

We explain step by step how to prepare chocolate truffles Plameca style, healthier and delicious, so you can treat yourself or surprise your guests.


  • 1 ripe avocado
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ lime (the skin)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150g of dark chocolate, minimum 80% cocoa
  • 1 tbsp (15g) coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp (5g) cocoa powder


  1. Mix the avocado with the vanilla extract using a blender.
  2. Add the lime zest and the pinch of salt.
  3. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a double boiler or microwave.
  4. Mix the chocolate and avocado. Let stand in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until the dough is firm but not completely solid.
  5. Make small truffle balls with your hands and "coat" them with the cocoa powder.
